Educational Institution Membership
This level of membership is open to all institutions involved in the delivery of Fashion and Textiles courses in further and higher education within the United Kingdom.
Member institutions nominate a main contact and deputy representative, qualified and knowledgeable about the Fashion and Textiles sector, authorised to speak on behalf of their institution and prepared to actively contribute to the work of the Association.
Educational Institution Membership benefits include:
- Invitations to the twice yearly (January and June) Members Meeting in London (if the nominated main contact is unable to attend please send the deputy representative).
- Free delegate places and travel bursaries for Educational Institution Member MPhil / PhD students to attend the annual Research Event.
- Reduced delegate places for the Futurescan conference and access to professional development events.
- Opportunities and support to attend Council for Higher Education in Art and Design (CHEAD) events, training and other sector activities.
- Mailouts relevant to the sector such as job adverts, conference/symposium calls, external examiner enquires and programme validation requests.
NEW MEMBERSHIP / Subscriptions
Member institutions pay an annual subscription, which is reviewed at the autumn meeting of the FTC Steering Group.
The current Educational Institution Membership is £175.00 per annum, due on the 30th November each year.
