Sean’s previous work on a Higher Education Academy (HEA) funded research project, ‘Breaking Down The Walls was focussed on developing intercultural competencies’, and centred the student experience and engagement.  His most recent research activity, ‘Success for All’ spans across the School and University.  Sean also works jointly on the research project, Fashion Boys in a Female Territory with Lorraine Warde.

Lorraine works jointly with Sean Prince on her current research project, Fashion Boys in Female Territory.  This work is an investigation into the identity and practice of fashion design education in the millennial era.

Lewis’ current research breaks down into two interconnected areas: feminist postcolonial studies (concerned predominantly with changing attitudes to Islam in the ‘west’ and in the Middle East); and lesbian, gay, and queer studies (concerned mainly with the role of dress in the formulation of sexed and gendered identities).

Angela’s background is in fashion and she has held a variety of roles, predominantly as Course Leader.  She has pioneered initiatives to improve the visibility of our diverse creative communities at UAL including ‘BAME Talent Days’ at London College of Fashion which has been consequently adopted across most of the University.

Anne is responsible for the Fashion, Jewellery and Textiles, Product, Ceramic, and Industrial Design, and Spatial Practices Programmes. She is committed to fostering innovation and excellence in teaching and learning, knowledge exchange and research in design, materials futures and communication.
